Power & Performance
There is not much to complain about in 2011 Cadillac STS. Most of the reviewers enjoy driving the STS, and it produces enough acceleration to speed up heavy body. Buyers had the option of two powerful engines in 2010, but now there is no V8. However, thanks to its well tuned suspension, the V6 produces sufficient power to satisfy and match with the class. The fuel economy is about average the V6 records 17 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway and V8 shows 15 mpg city and 24 mpg highway (V8 available in 2010 model). Cadillac STS does not require premium fuel.
The Cadillac STS base model comes with 3.6 liter V6, which produces 302 horsepower and uses the variable valve timing system to maximize thrust. The V6 is powerful enough to satisfy the test drivers.
