Nevertheless, just after defeating away competition to consider the 2009 United States Car of the Year, consumers started to understand that there was clearly something amazing relating to this brand new Hyundai. The base price starts from $30,000, and Hyundai Genesis is big for upscale midsize car. Hyundai Genesis offer luxury large car feel and it competes with luxurious Lexus and other competitors, but it is not a sports sedan. The Genesis is made intended for customers searching for a more comfortable, high tech interior with a sufficient amount of room to loosen up.

However, the price is not lower than other competitors in this class, but the luxury competes with large cars usually priced above $50,000. There is no AWD system in Genesis, and if you need one, then you have to look somewhere else. Audi A4 would be the perfect option for AWD. However, Hyundai Genesis offers more trunk space than Audi A4 with 16 cubic feet of room.

Th The Hyundai Genesis is available in two different trims. The 3.8 liter with V6 engine, which offers high quality leather seating, heated front seats and push button starter all standard. The 4.6 liter trim comes with V8 engine, which features upgraded leather seating, ventilated driver seat, 17 speaker sound system, and power rear sunshade as standard attributes. Power & Performance

Being an everyday commuter plus a home car, the Hyundai Genesis four door is the high-class, luxurious, bargain-priced equal to higher priced vehicles from much more recognized car manufacturers. You can choose from two different engines the V6 and V8. The V6 is adequate to meet most buyer expectations, but if you need more power and ready to spend more money, then V8 is the best choice for you. The handling test shows excellent results for Genesis, and it is perfect for cornering. The 180 degree corner test among three cars Mercedes E550, BMW 550i and Hyundai Genesis – Genesis performs perfectly. However, some of the reviewers say that there is still room for improvement in handling. You can choose between 3.8 liter V6, which produces 290 horsepower and a 4.6 liter V8 that produce 385 horsepower. The V6 engine is adequate and offers the optimum performance, good fuel economy and balanced acceleration. The V8 option offers more power and more luxury features.

Hyundai Genesis Review

The V8 competes with luxury large cars and the test drive shows competing performance by Genesis. As compare to other V8s, fuel economy is good with 17 mpg in city and 25 mpg on the highway. On the other hand, the V6 engine gets 18 mpg city and 27 mpg on the highway. There are only six speed automatic transmission for both the models. Hyundai Genesis offers the comfortable ride not the sporty ride. It offers sufficient power to meet the high performing cars and the V8 is a powerhouse. The braking is perfect and results show much better and quick response as compared to Mercedes E550 and BMW 550i.

In reality, its leather-lined dashboard is uncommon in this cost — that’s a luxury generally restricted to vehicles that cost you much more. Reviewers like the quality of materials used in Hyundai Genesis with a good finish. Seats are too soft and comfortable as compare to German cars. The front seats are comfortable and provide you good manageable position. There are no negative remarks about rear seats most of the reviewers appraise the luxurious feel in rear seats. Hyundai provides a collection of two qualities of leather covers.

Evaluators repeat the standard leather satisfies what the majority of competitions provide, though the optionally available update to much softer, perforated leather receives excellent critiques. The electronics is easy to use and there is no complication of controls. The navigation system with voice recognition is appraised and liked by most of the reviewers. There is an option to select between two navigation systems. A seven inch touch screen unit and a second unit features eight inch screen and six CD changer, and it is standard on 4.6 liter Genesis. The climate and entertainment have separate controls. The trunk space is largest in the class, which provides 15.9 cubic feet of space.

The exterior design is elegant and resemble like luxury large cars. However, some reviewers say that the design is borrowed from different luxury cars. Many reviewers like the handsome, aggressive lines and appealing grille. There is no sign or identifying badge on the grille.
