The Vauxhall Cascada is a good looking modern car whether the hood is up or down. Its grand flat decking with its class gives the impression that convertible is more expensive than it actually is. Power and Performance
The engines are strong and provide good balance of performance and economy. The 1.4 litre engine with 138bhp and the 1.6 turbocharged petrol engine. You also have option of 2.0 litre engine with 163bhp and 192bhp.
The Vauxhall Cascada with its responsive engine is refined and suited for cruising. Its performance is a bit subdued as a result of its weight. However, the convertible is really accommodating with its power delivery – perfect for the kind service the Cascadas are made for.
Interior & Exterior
Vauxhall Cascada come with quality leather finishing with a highly distinct metal highlights. It provides great comfort to the driver, with both of the front seats having adjustable heights with good lateral support.
As for the switch gear and dashboard, you’ll get an array of buttons together with a rotary controller that enable easy navigation on the prominent systems. On the rear seats, the convertible is practical enough for tall passengers; these rear seats can also be folded as well to enhance space for large luggage.
The visibility is a bit impeded by the pillars of the windscreen while the rear visibility is also limited at the back. Noise is greatly reduced with an insulated roof, which is available at a premium cost if you prefer quietness while driving.

All models of the Cascada carry with them four airbags in the case of sudden emergencies. There is also a system of protection for the passengers as well as the car in the case of a rollover. The Vauxhall Cascada is not an expensive convertible, even with the standard of its equipment when compared to its closest competitors. When buying however, it will be worth considering the manual diesel engine among the range of engines available to choose from. Considering it is cheaper and also more economical than the 1.6 automatic engines.
