At the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014, New Peugeot 308 hatchback was crowned to be the best car of the year 2014 in Europe beating BMW i3 and Tesla Model S. Before the event, 7 cars were tested profoundly by the selected jury consisting of 58 judges. The members of the jury for short listing the best car were selected from 22 European countries.

- Peugot 308
- Skoda Octavia
- Tesla Model S
Every car listed above has its own unique qualities and features which differentiates them among each other but not all have succeeded in breaking the ice for the judges in the European Car of the Year Award 2014.
Ultimately the car race was won by the great Peugot 308 hatchback, launched in January 2014 at the price of £19,000. The lady is equipped with 1560 CC 16v 4 cylinders turbo diesel engine and 18inch rims.
