Power and Performance
The 1.2-liter engine with 68bhp, 0.9-liter Twinair, 1.3-liter with 94bhp and the 138bhp Abarth are different engine options available for 500C. Though the lowest of these engines – the 1.2-liter, is not as fast as it should be, but at least it can at least keep you satisfied on the motor way. The other engine – 1.3bhp with 94bhp is much stronger that you will enjoy greater pace than its other siblings.
Interior & Exterior
The Fiat 500 does not have adjustable driver’s seats, but rather it can impressively change the angle of the chair base. On the other hand, the steering wheels do not also adjust for reach; but you can be sure that the Fiat 500 will not cut short the expectation of the driver.
The space inside the convertible is practical and can even take a couple of adults in its space. As for the boots, they are a bit small for luggage and just big enough to carry a few extra bags. Where the luggage is a bit more in number, then the boot size can be expanded further by folding the back seats.
Some of the standard features include central locking, front electric windows, chrome trim, climate control, parking sensors, painted mirrors, front fog lights and then even 15-inch alloys are all part of equipment that come along with the convertible. Some of the equipment that can be added to enhance the driving experience, but it will cost you more pounds.
Safety and Reliability
The other sibling of the convertible has a 5-star rating for crash tests, and so that means that with their structural similarities in the rigid roof pillars, the Fiat 500 convertible will also have such high reputation. There are seven airbags as well as a knee airbag, but unlike most other convertible it misses out on stability control.
The pillars of the convertible are rigid; with some level of agility and smartness as a result of its small body. Especially when the roof is stowed, it can elicit great excitement when cruising.
eBest Cars Verdict
Though the Fiat 500 is costly to buy, the recurring expenses like insurance and other services are easily affordable. It offers good fuel economy that will save your cost. Some car reviewers state that it is a ladies car and very fun to drive with friends.
