Power & Performance
You can choose between two 1.0 litre petrol engines with 59bhp and 74bhp. Both engines lack extra power, which makes sluggish on highway. The 74bhp option is a good choice for motorway. Let us not forget that it is a city car.
VW UP unique quality is comfortable ride even on bumpy roads. It is a fast car that is easy to drive and handle. The road noise is kept to minimum even at high speed, which is something not expected from three cylinder engines. However, some of the car reviews mention that road noise creeps in at high speeds.
It is not the cheapest car in the class neither best equipped. Economy is good, specifically for 59bhp with 62.8mpg. Its funky image might be able to boost the sale.

Up interior is of high quality, and controls are not complicated. You can easily access all interior controls having VWs no hard to use fancy buttons.
